The Scodellaro’s were already known as craftsmen family specialized in woodworking.
Using recycled material, Ernesto Scodellaro ingeniously built the first machines of his workshop.
The Fratelli Scodellaro’s artisan workshop - specialized in fixtures - was set up.
Our investments and expansion were driven by an entrepreneurial vision. We bought some important machines, one after another.
We began to produce wooden frames for fiberglass bathtubs and wooden packaging. We bought a beam saw to give a new boost to the processing of panels.
The built surface area became 3200 square meters. The automated cross-cutting system started an internal evolution. We bought the pantograph.
We added the edge-banding in our production cycle and bought the drilling machine. With an innovative technology we are able to manage even small production batches.
The process of the company ”conversion” towards the Lean Production was started. We invested in production improvement - also buying an automatic unloader - and continuous staff training.
We are equipped with a highly advanced CAD / CAM increasing the company design capability.
We renewed our filtering system, both for the powders treatment and for the noise reduction.
Tekton was founded, as a Scodellaro’s business unit: it makes products manufactured and assembled to meet the designers’ specifics.
We became a prime contractor in some projects, realizing finished products with an integration of materials such as aluminum, glass, painted and lacquered products.
